In regards to your feedback for the BRS x Metal demo

Thanks for your feedback, everyone. No, really.

The general consensus for the BRS x Metal demo seems to be that the Vocaloid track is pretty awful.

I know it is awful and pretty darn difficult to make Hatsune Miku sing English lyrics, but this is something I definitely don’t want to give up on and replace with another generic mashup track. I’ve had this idea since the early stages of Mashup the Hedgehog.

Thus, I’m trying to learn how to make the lyrics sound as best as they can, as well as mastering the track properly.

The last thing I want to do is disappoint, so please be as honest as possible with your criticism. I want to make this track sound great for everyone.

I am quite clearly a pleb when it comes to actual music production stuff like FL Studio and Vocaloid. If anyone knows about music composition or Vocaloid and is willing to help, please feel free to message me.

But yes, this is an early demo for the penultimate track of Mashup the Hedgehog, “Metal Sonic Shooter”. It will consist of both a remix and an animation…

preview of the corresponding Vocaloid track. I’ve decided to go with Miku solid; it’s basically a straight upgrade of Miku from Vocaloid 2, and it gives the right feeling of the song as opposed to dark/soft/sweet/vivid.

Also, Vocaloid 3 is definitely a lot better to work with; it’s not as primitive and unstable as Vocaloid 2, and it also has tons of great features that streamline the workflow; for instance, you can import WAV files as backing tracks, which helps with composition.
